Preferred to have BA – Business Admin., Sales, Marketing, etc.

Must have prior sales experience, preferably 3-5 years and in construction related industry.

Must be self-motivated and driven.

Good communication skills both verbal and written.

Must demonstrate a positive attitude.

Continually educating yourself on industry codes, trends, and changes.

Well organized to make the most efficient use of your travels.

Detail oriented.

Ability to listen to customers and occasionally receive criticism and rejection
Essential Responsibilities

Build and grow relationships with new distributors, while managing relationships with existing customers, and OEMs

Increase fastener and tool sales

Work with management team to identify geographic regions to focus on where Rodenhouse may be currently underrepresented
-
Work with our existing independent reps around the country to help educate, train, and support their customers

Meet with insulation manufacturers outside sales staff to make joint calls with their key customers
-
Follow-up after meetings with decision makers, coordinate with home office to set-up distributors with literature, samples, etc. as needed

Work in tandem with our inside sales staff channeling leads as needed

Travel to tradeshows, jobsites, etc.

Spend roughly 70% of time traveling, on the road 2-3 days per week
