Low profile galvanized steel washer can be used with either Grip-Deck® bugle head screws or pins/nails to secure various sheathing materials including exterior gypsum sheathing, wood sheathing, cement board sheathing, MgO board, etc. The Washer helps prevent overdrive of the fastener head and pull-through of the fastener head through the sheathing outer surface, which is critically important when the sheathing layer is integrated with the weather resistive layer or air barrier.
